Advantage Consultores is celebrating
10 years with an event full of acknowledgements
The event took place at the InOut Barcelona,
a center where 90% of the employees are disabled.
Advantage Consultores celebrated this Thursday evening in an evening 10 years of existence, which was according to Sylvia Taudien, director and consultant “an homage to friendship and to the people who move the world”.
During the evening, Taudien went through the decade of activity from the beginning where everything started almost by chance. The director thanked her first clients, who were also here and their loyalty at that time and also the good personal relations she maintains with the majority of her former and current clients.
Amongst the guests were Josep Manel Ventosa, Development Director at Banc Sabadell; Clotilde Tesón, HR Directo at Codorniu, and Quim Bernardo, HR partner of Up Team Consulting. With this team and Equipos&Talento, Sylvia Taudien published the book “Shock!” in 2008, a practical guide to accompany companies during processes of fusion or acquisition.
Taking the wonderful opportunity, we talked to Sylvia Taudien to give us a short revision of this decade of development and to see what her plans are for the future.
This year you are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Advantage Consultores. What would you emphasize of this decade of development?
For me this is a period of great joy with a sparkle in the eyes. These are ten years of effort and dedication, passion and networking. We had a lot of wide-ranged projects, that set trends, like the supervision of the bank fusions with the pioneer project of Banc Sabadell-Atlántico, we brought the concept of Newplacement in a very individualized form with human touch and we made the important connection between Germany and Spain for bilateral projects whom a lot of German Start-Ups in Spain and Spanish companies in Germany have followed.
In times of crisis, what is the additional value the services as director in Human Resources present?
We try to get across a positive attitude and to present us as a problem solver. When it comes to technical specifications, the mentality and the international experience are inevitable and to develop intercultural understanding and logically to know various languages.
What do you think are the main tendencies in the HR consulting for the future?
I think we move towards the specialization in certain fields like Talent Development, Headhunting at a global level, Intercultural Coaching or personified services with Senior Consultants. We have to build a partnership based on efficiency, rapidity, feedback and closeness.
The 10th anniversary, what are the next objectives Advantage wants to achieve?
We carry on with our niche policy between Spain and Germany, which will be effective with our close relationships. For us these are ten years of success, happiness and we want to continue to help the people and the organizations. That is why we are planning a long-term succession for the future.
