1. THE IDEA
My team and I at Advantage would define ourselves as International Headhunters, Consultants in Career Coaching, New-placement experts and Executive Coaches. But beyond this we see ourselves as Networkers, Humanizers, Innovators, creative minds, digital specialists, and design focused global citizens that create client, candidate and employee experiences, and much more.
The world is more fascinating than ever, and things are constantly changing and evolving. “HR” is now adding more value than ever and is no longer a supporting function to business. HR is business!
4 years ago I thought that all these reflections and my broad global network could be a platform for sharing, inspiring and bringing CEO’s and HR People from all over the world together, in a unique environment with inspiring speakers. We were convinced that we should not have sponsors, nor pay for speakers, but instead offered a great experience in Catalan Team Cooking, sightseeing of Barcelona, the opportunity of sharing and enjoying experiences with likeminded souls. And it worked…
The HR Conference was born 4 years ago.

3. PREPARATION FOR THIS YEAR
This year I reached out via social networks and my personal contacts to people who could help us with put together breath taking speakers to cover topics such as: Future of Work, Future of Recruitment and young global entrepreneurs. The results were overwhelming. During 3 months we worked with all those that came forward to find the best speakers, who could create a brilliant conference, and next week the speaker’s panel will be finalised.
We will have outstanding speakers from top innovative companies, universities and entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, Singapore, Boston, London, Italy, Morocco, and Spain; the event will be led by three excellent moderators. At the beginning of April the full line up and related content will be published and registration will be opened.
5. INNOVATION FOR THIS YEAR
We will invite inspiring young people, under 30, to attend the conference. But places will be limited and to get a slot they will need to send us a presentation that set out their motivation for attending. The top 20 will be invited to attend the 4th HR Conference.
